Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games Unveil the Handler Archetype Class in Remnant II

Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games have just released a thrilling new trailer featuring the Handler Archetype class in their highly anticipated action-survival shooter, Remnant II. The game is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the Summer of 2023.

The Handler Archetype specializes in canine combat, focusing on teamwork between the player and their trusty dog companion. Players can utilize their four-legged friend to attack enemies and create distractions when the going gets tough. The Handler’s Prime Perk allows the dog companion to revive the player or their teammates, while the Archetype Trait significantly reduces friendly fire damage to all allies, including the player themselves.

Remnant II immerses players in a deeper, more devastated world, challenging them with a blend of methodical and frenetic ranged and melee combat. Players will face cunning enemies and punishing boss battles, either alone or by teaming up with two friends to overcome the game’s challenges.

The dynamic level design ensures a fresh experience for every new playthrough, with locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, and weapons drawn from a vast pool of assets. These dynamically built levels allow for organic, unique experiences as elements are seamlessly integrated into the world and narrative.

The game also boasts an updated Archetype system, offering players more flexibility in tailoring their play style. This allows groups to better synchronize their unique passive abilities and powerful skills in co-op play. Players can unlock, level up, and equip multiple Archetypes simultaneously, enabling a diverse range of play styles to suit any situation.

Stay tuned for more updates on Remnant II as we eagerly await its release in the Summer of 2023!
