Get ready, Final Fantasy fans! Square Enix has announced the highly anticipated release of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Previously only available on Steam and mobile platforms, the series will make its way to consoles on April 19, 2023.

Unique Features for Console Versions
The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series come with unique features. Players can switch between the rearranged and original-based soundtrack and choose between the game’s default font or a pixel-based font. Additionally, console players can enjoy boost features such as turning off random encounters and adjusting experience gained multipliers between 0 and 4.
Availability and Pre-Order Details
You can purchase all six titles in the series individually or as a complete set in the Final Fantasy I-VI Bundle from the PlayStation Store or Nintendo eShop. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version are now open. If you purchase the Switch version by May 25, 2023, you will receive two themed wallpapers for each game purchased from the series. Purchasing the complete I-VI Bundle will grant you all 12 themed wallpapers.
PlayStation 4 players who purchase the digital edition of the game(s) between April 19, 2023, and May 25, 2023, will receive a theme and avatar for each individual game purchased from the series. Buying the complete I-VI Bundle will provide you with all six themes and six avatars.
