Farming Simulator 25’s Beans & Alpacas Expansion brings coffee and alpacas on October 27

Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas Expansion launches on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, GIANTS Software’s Steam page says. It costs $29.99 on Steam for PC and Mac, and a 10% pre-purchase discount brings it to $26.99 for now. You need Farming Simulator 25 on Steam to play it. Xbox’s list of next week’s releases also carries a Beans & Alpacas Edition on the same day, which bundles the expansion with the base game.

For anyone who has never farmed in it, a day in Farming Simulator 25 is a chain of jobs that pay later. You plough, sow, wait, harvest, and haul the crop to a buyer or to a building that turns it into something worth more. The machines carry real brand names and cost real in-game money.

What Catuaí adds to the production chain

The new map is Catuaí, a humid valley inspired by South America. Coffee grows on rolling hills of red soil, a river winds past stilt houses, and a small town has colorful shops and depots. GIANTS’ own preview says it draws on the rural landscapes of Brazil. Coffee beans are the new crop. Alpacas and Brahman cows join the livestock, and alpacas can be sheared and led on foot.

Most of the new parts are on the production side. Pigment and resin are new products, and the store page lists crop-processing chains to set up around them. A production chain is a run of buildings that each turn one good into the next. It is how the series lets a farm sell finished goods instead of raw crops. There is also a Research Center to build as a construction project, dinosaur skeleton parts to dig up, and a museum to show them in. You can repaint houses in town for the community, too.

More than 25 new machines arrive from Case IH, Ford, John Deere, KUHN, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, New Holland, Valtra and others. Colombo Industries appears in the series for the first time. GIANTS also lists better ground tool animations and improved visual effects.

Farming Simulator 25 came out on November 12, 2024. Its previous expansion, Highlands Fishing Expansion, arrived on November 4, 2025, also at $29.99. It added Kinlaig, a Scottish map, along with fish farming, onions, Highland cattle and more than 20 machines. That puts the two expansions almost a year apart, which in farming terms is one harvest. Both bring a new region, a new crop, new animals and new brands, so anyone who bought the first knows the shape of the second.

Beans & Alpacas is up for pre-purchase on Steam at $26.99, and the valley opens on Tuesday.
