No Man’s Sky’s Forsaken update fills your corvette with biomechanical parts and courier runs

Hello Games released Forsaken for No Man’s Sky on Wednesday, and nearly everything in it bolts onto the corvette, the ship your friends can board and walk around in. It is update 7.10, out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Hello Games’ update page lists no price for it.

Forsaken also brings the full game to iPhone and iPad for the first time, with the opening free to try on the App Store. Joint sessions have held up to 32 players on PC and current consoles since the 2020 Next Generation update, OpenCritic reported at the time. Crossplay has linked PC, PlayStation and Xbox since that June. A session runs from the host’s save, and friends join through the Join Game menu or an invite.

“Vessels of preserved organic matter have begun to appear in deep space,” Hello Games founder Sean Murray wrote on Xbox Wire. Those vessels hold mementos, biological samples you harvest from infested outposts, derelict hulks, freighters and planet digsites. Harvest too long and hostile boundary horrors come for you. Forsaken traders at the edges of space outposts swap the mementos for biomechanical corvette modules and a Multi-Tool called the Larva Cannon. A trade loop like that gives a crew a reason to log back in after the first night.

Courier runs and warps to the stars you can see

Space Courier Contracts are long-distance package runs taken at space outposts, and they need a corvette and a Gravitino Coil. Corvette haulage missions sit alongside them. Seamless warping lets you target a nearby star you can see from space and fly straight there, with no trip into the Galaxy Map. For a crew, that cuts the moment where one person stares at a menu while everyone else waits.

Corvettes arrived in the Voyagers update in August 2025, and Breach added parts that October. Voyagers also gave corvettes a mission board, so passengers can sign on as crew and finish objectives together. Forsaken adds Vantage, Hornet, Viper and Mantis cockpits and Legion-class interiors. The patch notes also fix “a number of multiplayer issues related to being on corvettes,” which is the line I would read first.

The rest is smaller. There is a minimal HUD mode, a radial weapon selector, space bases you can upload for other players to visit, and Holo-Arena creature battles at deep-space outposts.

If the crew already owns No Man’s Sky, Forsaken goes on the Friday poll, with a corvette courier run as the first job.
