Company of Heroes 3: Operation Torch is a 15-mission campaign DLC, and Relic Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it launches on PC on November 25, 2026. Relic has not given a price yet. The base game is also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the announcement names only PC for this one.
It is the first new single-player mission content since Company of Heroes 3 came out on February 23, 2023. You command an American force in its first major campaign against German troops, in Axis-held North Africa. The army starts out inexperienced, and the campaign turns it into a veteran one through wins and costly losses.
The setting flips the base game. Company of Heroes 3 already had a North Africa operation, and in it you played the Axis side. Its main campaign put the Allies in Italy on a dynamic campaign map, where your dealings with your commanders could change the ending.
Fifteen set missions after the Italy campaign map
Operation Torch drops that map. It is a run of set missions, which means each battle has its own fixed map, goals and story beat, played in order. PC Gamer called the Italian campaign “fundamentally broken” at launch, one of several critical reviews collected on the game’s Wikipedia page.
The arc runs from the Allied landings, through the defeat at Kasserine, to the final assault on Hill 609. Putting Kasserine in the story is honest of Relic, since it was an American loss. Three American soldiers frame the campaign, from command down to the field. Missions range from beach landings and stealth operations to defensive actions and large assaults.
Between missions, completed missions and optional objectives earn upgrades, and you choose which ones shape your army. Relic has not listed those upgrades yet, and in a linear campaign they need to still matter by mission 15.
The DLC arrives in the series’ 20th anniversary year. It follows the 3.0 Anniversary Update and lands alongside the upcoming Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition. Relic now publishes the game itself, after splitting from Sega in 2025.
Operation Torch is on Steam for wishlists now, ahead of Wednesday, November 25.
