Deep Dish Dungeon, from the Knights of Pen & Paper studio, is out with three-player co-op

Raw Fury and Behold Studios released Deep Dish Dungeon on October 13, 2026, and it went into Game Pass on day one. It’s out on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox Cloud, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. It costs $14.99, discounted 15% on Steam for launch, and you can play solo or bring up to two friends online.

I care because of who made it. Behold built Knights of Pen & Paper, the 2012 RPG where you control both the tabletop players and their dungeon master, and it won an IGF award in 2013. Chroma Squad followed in 2015, a tactics game about five stunt actors who start their own Power Rangers-style television show. Both were small games that knew which joke they were telling.

Saulo Camarotti founded the studio in Brasília in 2009, and it relocated to Toronto in 2019. Behold’s own site lists several games since then, including Galaxy of Pen & Paper, a science fiction sequel, and the couch co-op strategy game Out of Space. Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club, a tactical RPG about magical girl cosplayers, is still in Early Access. Raw Fury, the Swedish publisher behind Kingdom, Norco and Blue Prince, picked up this latest one.

It’s a dungeon crawler set in one big handcrafted dungeon, where you forage, solve puzzles and learn how each enemy behaves before heading back to camp. At camp you craft tools and cook, because food is how you get stronger: recipes unlock over time and change your stats. The Steam page says it’s designed to be played without hand-holding.

Raw Fury’s release says the dungeon “will reveal its secrets only with patience and persistence,” which I read as fair warning that you’ll get lost. Co-op tops out at three players, and Steam lists it as cross-platform. Early Steam reviews are Mostly Positive, at 77% of 302 as of October 16.

If you liked how Knights of Pen & Paper poked fun at the tabletop RPG, you’ll want to see what this team does with one big dungeon. It’s on Steam now, and on Game Pass if you already pay for it.
