“The Moon isn’t going to clean itself. Management has checked,” says DragDrop Games, the Finnish studio launching Moon Sweepers on Steam on October 23, 2026. Management didn’t check the equipment budget, though, because the crew starts with a toothbrush.
Moon Sweepers takes up to 16 players in online co-op lobbies, or you can play it alone, on PC only and with no price announced yet. The store page lists no dedicated servers and no crossplay, so assume one player hosts the lobby until DragDrop says otherwise. The trailer is labelled 1.0 and the page never mentions Early Access, so it looks like the full game.
Dust pays for everything
You scrub lunar dust, haul it to a depot and get paid for each load. The money buys bigger tools and more carrying capacity, then extra depots you can drop close to the work, and later cleaning vehicles. The ground stays clean behind you, so you can see on the map how far the crew has got. Steam tags it automation and base building, which hints that the depots and vehicles start doing some of the work for you.
Sixteen people is a big crew for a cleaning job. The release warns that your friends may become “an additional management problem,” and they will. Somebody has to decide where the depots go, a couple of people end up driving, and everyone else scrubs.
PowerWash Simulator topped out at six players, so this is nearly three times the crew. It’s also the second job sim this month to take a double-digit lobby, after Japanese Ramen Simulator opened its kitchen to 10 players. Steam lists no earlier games from DragDrop Games, and this one asks very little of a PC: a GTX 1650 and 8 GB of RAM cover the minimum.
The store page doesn’t say how the game ends. So far the only goal it names is a clean Moon, and I’d want to know how big that Moon is before our crew gives it a Friday night.
October 23 is a Friday, as it happens, so add it to the poll and wishlist it on Steam now to get the launch notice.
