The next installment in the genre-defining crime simulator, Thief, was revealed today for PC and the next generation of consoles. Eidos-Montréal, the studio from Square Enix that developed the critically-acclaimed award-winning Deus Ex series. Thief, which is the fourth entry in the self-titled series, will be coming out next year.
Time has moved on. Power has shifted. New greed replaces the old.

In The City, the poor despair while the rich prosper and dwell in their power. The City is filling with sickness and starvation; change has to come soon. Enter Garret, the master thief in all of The City. Thief hands over complete control over to the player in this open-world first-person adventure. Each level is carefully crafted with many secrets and choices, allowing players to have many different path to take.
