Demon’s Souls Comes to PSN Next Week

ATLUS (of Index Digital Media, Inc.), announced that Demon’s Souls will be coming onto the Playstation Network. The award-winning action RPG will be starting at $20 on January 8th, 2013. To celebrate, ATLUS is hosting a World Tendency Event for one whole week. From January 8th to January 14th, the servers will be set to Pure White Tendency. For new players, this means numerous changes in the game world from the normal difficulty. In Pure White Tendency the difficulty of the game is reduced: enemies will do less damage, have less HP and lowered defense, and the player character inflicts more damage. Enemies also drop less upgrade stones, but leave behind more healing potions. This will be good for new players, as Pure White Tendency is a rare occurrence.

Demon’s Souls has received numerous awards from other game journalism companies, and even became a “Greatest Hit” for Playstation. And for those unfamiliar with the game, Demon’s Souls blends single player into co-op multiplayer or PvP seamlessly, while the player can leave clues and hints behind to help.
